Quality Promise
We deliver quality service for every car, every visit. If you’re looking for a general mechanic in the Vancouver WA area including All of Clark County, this is the place you want to take your car!
Most automotive repair shops in Vancouver WA will not publish their labor rates, but we feel it is important for our customers to know exactly how they are charged.
Our labor rate is $110 per Flat Rate hour. We use the Mitchell Labor Guide to set the amount of labor time we charge for each job. The labor guides are in our office and you can view them at any time to see what the labor time should be for a given job.
We do not mark up parts. Our shop gets a volume discount on parts and we pass that savings directly on to our customers. We provide copies of all parts receipts to our customers so you can see exactly what each part costs us.
At My Mechanic Automotive, we strive to make our pricing clear, fair, and simple. We will never try to sell you unnecessary items or services. There are absolutely no hidden fees, add on fees, environmental fees or other nonsense.

Flat Rate
Flat rate is a price a customer pays for a specific service based on the amount of time deemed necessary to perform the service, which remains constant regardless of the actual time a particular worker needed to complete the service. Flat rate manuals are used throughout the service industry and are based on timed studies of the time it takes to perform a specific job. At My Mechanic Automotive, our flat rate pricing helps provide a uniform pricing menu for service work and helps establish the worth of the performance of a particular job.
More Service Info
Factory Approved Maintenance:
If you are under a warranty we want you to know you can have your maintenance and services performed by any licensed shop. You do not have to go to the dealership’s shop to stay within warranty guidelines. You do need to keep your receipts for proof of service and make sure that the parts are OEM (Original Equipment). For more information on this see the Magnuson-Moss Act.
Oil Change:
Our price on an oil change is $45.00 labor plus the cost of oil and a filter. Some oil change shops will run specials on oil changes, offering them for a below cost price. We cannot match those prices and we encourage you to get the best deal you can. Many oil change shops will recommend additional work and services. We would be happy to verify the need for any work recommended.
